Office Hours and Appointments
Office Hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
We see all patients on an appointment basis. We know that your time is valuable
to you and we make all attempts to see you promptly. However, due to the
unpredictability of an Obstetrical and Gynecological practice, there may be
times when our physician may be delayed by various emergencies. It may be
necessary to adjust our appointment schedule and we encourage you to make sure
we have your current, up-to-date phone number.
We urge you to be on time for your appointment. If you are late, it may be
necessary for us to reschedule your appointment for another time. We do not mind
if you call before your appointment to confirm our schedule.
Fees and Insurance
We accept most major insurances. Our professional staff is here
to handle your electronic insurance filings for you with all participating
insurance companies. Please note that some insurance companies may require prior
authorization before being seen at our office. Obtaining a prior authorization
could take up to 72 hours and is usually obtained by your family physicians
office. If you have any questions about insurance or our fee policy, please do
not hesitate to contact our billing department at 813.780.8778.
For those patients with large deductibles, limited benefits, or without
maternity coverage, our billing department will be happy to initiate a payment
program when your care begins with us.
Patients are responsible for any co-payments or deductibles required by your
insurance company and are due at the time of the visit unless other arrangements
have been made prior to the visit.
Prescriptions
All prescriptions and authorizations for renewals should be
requested during regular office hours so that your medical record is available.
Please have the phone number of your pharmacy and the prescription number of the
refill on hand so we may expedite your request.
